Crafting Phase

The creative side has taken over in recent weeks.

Christmas creations neat ornaments inspired by my very creative friend Faye. Sentimental gifts when were finished made me cry.

I've dabbled with different art projects all of life. My mother inspired me as a child in that as a family we worked on different craft projects for craft shows. She took Sand Art to a children's level back in the early 70's. Who would've thought that Sand Art would come in a kit for children back then. She also designed a game that became the Rugs that cars and trucks would roll on for children. Someone made a fortune we were the unfortunate because she/we didn't go the extra step. One of life's lessons.

I come from a family of nine children. We shared alot as children. Our father grew up in a Methodist orphanage here in Richmond. He was killed in a car accident while working as a courier when I was 8 years old. My mother remarried later, she is 82 years old now. There is 23 grandchildren and 17+ great grands. It's difficult to keep up with in these busy days.
