Additions to a Clock

This clock was purchased for $1 dollar. There was a printed box around the stacked cups that was off center as well as the numbers were off center. A painted box with painted plastic spoons really jazzed it up. A whimsical addition that matched the coffee theme in my kitchen. Tick Tock!

Lamp covered using Model Magic Clay

This is a lamp base I used the Model Magic Clay on as well. The clay dries the consistency of styrofoam almost. This is a medium, I really like to use.

Out of boredom, my daughter and I played with this to make names using the straws.

Pillow Cover using melted crayon for most of the color

A Pillow Cover I made for my sister for her Birthday. I used an old tee shirt, melted crayon and permanent marker. After drawing the design, I filled in with melted crayon and outlined everything with Permanent marker. The lettering is done with Permanent marker. I covered the design and ironed the cover to set the design. Last summer, I did alot of this.

She really liked her pillow.

Angel Mosiac using cracked Christmas balls

This is another smaller box using cracked Christmas balls and the Model Magic Clay. The face of the Angel is again interesting.

Mosaic Using Cracked Christmas Balls

A sentimental piece made for my daughters first bible given to her by her Papaw when she was about 4 years old. An empty wood cigar box was the perfect size.

I used a stencil for the "Navity Scene" and tried to pull it together to make the figures whole. The balls were small which gives it a "lumpy, bumpy" look. The background and filler in between the glass pieces is Model Magic Clay.

I emailed this picture to my sister so that she could show my mom what I did. My mom has Maculate Degeneration. When my sister zoomed in on the picture to our amazement it truly looks like a real baby lying in the manger.

My sister says "that what your beliefs are or your thinking is when you do something like this, it's mirrors back too you."

This is something my daughter will treasure forever. I do need to put some type of sealer on the top though.

Christmas Ornaments

Ornaments - Faye really got me going on these as they were alot of fun. I plan on making many more. One of my co-workers is asking for more with extra feathers.

The pineapple was a drawing on posterboard for a template. Six of them were done with wire in between two of them for the base. Then two folded for each side glued on each side for the fold. Added some beads and feathers. I hung one on each lamp, I varied the side because of a smaller lamp I have. Very welcoming.
